Welcome to the first posting on my new blog! I am excited about what God is doing and how he is blessing the Multi-site Ministry here at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ft. Collins, Colorado. My plan is to update this blog at least once per week so keep checking!

Many things have happened in the last few weeks and I would like to bring you up to speed. We have found an incredible facility and are praying that all of the details will work out so we can start worshipping in February 2009. Don't hold us to this but we have tentatively set the first worship for February 22! We hope and pray that everything can be completed by then so we can celebrate together in our first worship!

Back to the facility... we checked out the new gym at the Windsor Charter Academy and what a great facility with incredible people! Since our first visits, we have had numerous discussions and have recently given them the paperwork indicating our intent to rent the facilities. This will be discussed at their board meeting on October 27th. We are asking people to pray that this door will continue to be open!

We are also in the process of meeting with all of the Ministry Directors to identify volunteer and leadership needs for the new site. At this time, we are planning for Kids for Christ children's hour on Sundays for preschool through 5th grade. Junior High and High School are still in discussion. We are asking people to pray for workers.

After visiting other multi-sites, we have a good feel for the setup and teardown process as well as a basic agreement on the worship style. We are labeling it "casual contemporary, family friendly." We want to make the Windsor Campus a place where everyone can connect to Jesus in a comfortable, casual setting.

Let's discuss Small Groups... This is a critical area for this campus! We need to start groups where people can come together, study God's Word, and develop long lasting friendships and support. Please pray that small groups would be formed and they become a vital part of the DNA of this campus. Please contact me if you are interested or have some ideas... there are all sorts of possibilities!

God is good!
